Earlier this week, January 31 – February 1, the Ghent team had the honor of participating in the NeoConnect event put on by theMART and NeoCon Shows. NeoConnect brought together designers from around the country for two full days of CEU’s, one of which was presented in Ghent’s Showroom (Suite 1060) titled HCAHPS: What Does It Mean & Its Role in Patient Communication & Design.
“While HCAHPS is not a new concept in healthcare, understanding how it plays a major role in design decisions is,” commented Susan Claus, Director of Marketing. “Understanding the science behind HCAHPS helps designers make choices to improve patient satisfaction scores, ultimately helping their clients save money.”
The weather was cold, but it did not keep the event from being well attended.
“It was 15 degrees in Chicago for the event,” commented Regional Sales Manager, Stephanie Guidon. “Despite the weather, it was great to have two full days of learning and networking with architects and designers. Being the first event of this type, it was great to connect with those that took advantage. I am personally looking forward to future NeoConnect events.”
Over the two days, the Ghent team presented CEU’s, held meetings Ghent’s showroom including breakfast and happy hours, and finished up planning for future events.
