Located in Ft. Myers Florida, Golisano Children’s Hospital (Lee Health) is a state-of-the-art, family-centered, full-service children's hospital. The facility is about 25 years old and offers 128 pediatric beds, 500+ providers, and 70+ specialists. They see more than 22,000 patients annually across 22 specialty areas.

Their Whiteboard Solution

Golisano came to Ghent Healthcare in need of a large number (287) of whiteboards that would primarily be used in their patient rooms. Their main goal was to significantly improve their patient experience, and their initial design ideas were delightfully creative.

This project required big-time customization. Golisano wanted their patients to experience a variety of different designs — each of them with a big-time ‘wow’ factor. They also needed a few custom-sized boards to fit inside their patient rooms. From 18”x18” Slide Changeable glassboards to various sizes of DecoAurora whiteboards, the designs we helped them create were all very elaborate and unique. This was not an “off-the-rack” solution (just the way we like it!).

Thanks to our flexibility and design capabilities, we were able to deliver whiteboards that featured sharp colors, highly stylized content, and plenty of creative designs for the children. Once we saw the finished boards from our production team, we knew that the children at Golisano would love them. The boards were sure to be the perfect addition to the fun and welcoming environment of Golisano’s pediatric patient rooms.

They Couldn’t Wait to Get Their Hands on Them

Golisano was so happy with the finished designs that they wanted a few whiteboards sent out a month early so that they could display them during their open house. This was a request we were more than happy to fulfill, and they were immensely surprised at how quickly the boards arrived.
