We’re excited to announce the start of our biggest project to date – the expansion of our facility! On January 4, 2021 in Lebanon, Ohio, a groundbreaking ceremony occurred with founder George Leasure, his family, and employees in attendance. The expansion will consist of 36,000 square feet serving as a multi-purpose space for both production and warehousing.
The production facility expansion is a direct result of our continued success with our growing product lines including glass whiteboards, back to work safety solutions for the COVID-19 pandemic, and expansion of our traditional product offerings of whiteboards, mobiles, and enclosed boards. With the help of a grant from ODSA (Ohio Development Services Agency), as well as other local construction partners, we can tackle this large project quickly.
GMi Companies (Ghent, Waddell, and VividBoard) is a family-owned business, and I’m proud to say that many of our employees have been with us for more than 25 years, some since we founded the company over 40 years ago. This expansion is our first since moving into our current headquarters. We’re proud to have the commitment of our employees to see us through this exciting time.
The expansion project should take approximately 6 months and will not interrupt our production facilities during its construction period.
