A Quicker Set Up

We’ve all been there. You’ve picked out the perfect piece and you’re eager to get your new product incorporated into your space. But when it comes time for the actual set up, it’s much more difficult than you had anticipated. That can be a frustrating slowdown and here at Ghent, we do our best to avoid that experience with a quick and easy installation system.

Not only do our whiteboards have longevity and versatility, they are also easy to install quickly and flawlessly with little room for error. Hardware such as wall anchors are included so you don't have to spend time guessing what is compatible and gathering the fixtures you'll need. Our quick grid installation system sets you up for success from the beginning with a streamlined process.

Helping to simplify the process, Ghent has a dedicated installation page.. Tailored for each specific product, there are instructions with detailed steps provided. In each product sheet, it’s clearly structured with Tools Needed, What’s Included in the Carton, and step by step installation instructions along with illustrations. If you're more of a visual learner, watch the video that accompanies each product. There’s even a section to offer feedback for instructions, if you feel inclined to provide suggestions. 

Quick Grid Installation

Carefully created to eliminate the guesswork, our Quick Grid Installation System was specifically designed by a team of engineers to give an accurate, quick, and cost-saving installation of our glassboards every time. With 5 easy steps in 10 short minutes, you’ll be all set.

Step 1: Level Quick Grid

The Quick Grid spaces the cleats and support bar perfectly. No need to measure. Simply place the grid on the wall and make sure it’s level.

Step 2: Drill Pilot Holes 

The cleats have pre-drilled holes. Drill pilot holes where applicable.

Step 3: Insert Screws

Align screws with pilot holes to secure the cleats to the wall. Number of screws will vary based on size of board and number of studs.

Step 4: Remove Spacers

Once the cleats are secured to the wall, you can remove and recycle the vertical pieces.

Step 5: Slide Board Into Place

Lift your board above the cleats and slide it into place, ensuring the bottom of the board is flush with the bottom support bar. That’s it!

Please also note:

• • The Quick Grid Installation template is included with Aria and Harmony glassboards.

   

• • Anchors are not required when mounting directly to studs.

   

• • We recommend using glass suction cups and team lifting your glassboard.
